Meet the Team
I'm incredibly lucky to have an amazing team of staff who share the same hard-working ethic as me. They're friendly, welcoming, and genuinely love meeting and chatting with our customers. They play a huge part in making Brew and Banter what it is.
Lindsay (Linzi)
Owner
A proud mum to four amazing sons and a true Yorkshire lass. Lindsay took over Brew and Banter in August 2025 and has poured her heart into creating a warm, relaxed, and friendly environment where everyone feels welcome. A true people person who loves nothing more than a good natter and a laugh.
Billy
Front of House & Bar Manager
Lindsay's eldest son. Billy is very well liked and known for his cosy little chats with all the customers. He's building his own regulars who enjoy coming in to see him. The café clown and first to join in the fun, he was our famous naughty elf on the shelf. A kind-hearted soul who goes above and beyond to ensure customers are well looked after and happy.
George
Front of House
Lindsay's youngest boy. George helps take orders during holidays and weekends and is well known for his politeness and sweet charm. He's quite happy jumping in and helping out front of house when it gets busy. He has everyone's hearts melting.
Sarah
Front of House
An absolute superstar. Nothing is too much for Sarah and she always does her utmost to accommodate customers and make them feel so very welcome. She takes time out of her busy shift to chat with customers old and new, and is always very organised. Sarah also helps keep Lindsay organised with invoices and keeps her grounded.
Mason
Bar Staff
At 18, Mason is a little superstar with the kindest soul. He quickly took to working behind the bar and became a firm customer favourite with his charm, politeness and work ethic. Always with a beaming smile on his face, he's a credit to the team.
Annabelle
Front of House
Only 17 but more mature than most. Annabelle works so hard, she originally started pot washing for the previous owners and now works front of house brilliantly. Very pleasant and polite, and when the café is filled to the rafters she always stays cool, calm and collected. Our 'good elf', appreciated by all customers and staff.
Vanessa (Ness)
Cook
Ness works alongside Lindsay in the kitchen and is brilliant, especially on the griddle, and she can work anywhere in the kitchen. One of the jokers of the group, she's like a little whirlwind and has all our heads spinning with how quickly she moves around. Always keeping us entertained.
Bruno
Chief Greeter
Our much-loved dog who visits regularly and is always on hand for cuddles and a friendly welcome. Bruno is a firm favourite with customers and staff alike, and has become a real part of the Brew and Banter family.
